  • Radio Royalty Dines at Bouchon!

Bouchon was honored to have talk-radio hosts and TV pundits-extraordinaire Stephanie Miller and Bill Press dine with us on Saturday, June 6. The evening was made even more momentous with the presence of Stephanie’s adorable mother, Mrs. William E. Miller of Charlotte, and her charming brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Michelle Miller, also of Charlotte. We love a family reunion!

  • Stephanie and Bill were in town at the invitation of 880therevolution and the Buncombe County Democratic Party. Joining them for dinner were the hosts of LocalEdgeRadio, Blake and Lesley, Buncombe County Democratic Party Chairman Charles Carter and Kimberly whose name I don’t have right now, and the man with the plan, Brian Hall, 880therevolution Program Director and his wife Mary Elizabeth. Oh, and Vonciel.

It was quite the evening—Vonciel has had a secret dream ever since she first started listening to Stephanie and the Mooks when the program began four years ago—that Stephanie would come to Asheville and have dinner at Bouchon. OMG. We had a wonderful dinner and Vonciel was so proud of our terrific Bouchon team who made everyone so comfortable and executed a fabulous meal (Stephanie and Bill ate like condemned prisoners, uh, I mean enjoyed themselves immensely) with professional perfectionism.

A splendid evening which could have been improved only if Rebekah, Chris and Jim could have been there, too. Maybe next time?
